Iesza was inspired to create Eros & Isis, Loving inspiration inc. while doing a little “shopping” for a toy of her own. She perused the shelves of novelties in the higher-end shops around Vancouver. At the time, it seemed selection was limited to those who were looking for “a boy-replacement” or those who required “mechanics”.
Leaving the shops empty handed was all the inspiration she needed to come up with some truly unique designs of her own. Amazing what a little sexual tension can bring out of an artist.
A successful professional illustrator, designer and miniature model-maker, iesza went to work immediately creating over 30 initial designs to gradually produce for the Eros & Isis brand. The first series to appear on the market is the Victoria series.
The Victoria Series was inspired by Parisian Decadence, Art Nouveau opulence and the Golden Era of Eroticism and Fantasy, that seems to have gone sadly to the way-side in the toy production industry over the past few decades.
There once was a secret sense of art to the making of sex-toys, A personal-touch that has disappeared with the onslaught of mass-production of plastics from China etc. Iesza is making a concerted effort to bring the “Art” back to the idea Erotic play. An attention to the mental stimulation as well as the physical. Even if her toys sat on the shelf beside the bed forever-more, they are so gorgeous to look at, that one can’t help but be inspired to play. The fact that one has that option -to- play with these lovely works of art is really just an added bonus.
Having been to iesza’s design studio in Vancouver BC Canada, there is a sense of focussed passion and eroticism, yet a playful fantasy atmosphere in her space as well. A tongue-and-cheek gayety in her reflection of the sexual decadence in european history. Even Iesza’s desk where she designs the majority of her work, which is a golden claw-footed writing desk. A desk sternly set in black and gold with embellished initials gorgeously gilded into the surface. Not HER initials mind you but the letters “B.S.” in a central ornate scroll. The letters she says remind her that every possible adversity in the day is just that. Iesza has a great sense of humor and adds a little of that jest into all her work. For example “Le Petite Cock” is a silver piece similar in shape to “Plain Jane” is at first glance a regular silicone joy-toy, but upon closer focus you see that Le Petite Cock has two roosters at the base of the piece crowing to the heart at the tip which reads “best friends”. Coque is the French word for Rooster. And the “Chunkee Munkee” which seems a little rough around the edges and a bit of a serious rough-rider is actually upon examination, three little monkeys holding their ears, eyes and mouth to avoid witnessing any “naughty-ness” that may lie in their path.
All-in-all Iesza is clearly having too much fun creating this little empire for herself. But we will leave her to it, because I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next. Iesza has many designs to give up to the Brand over the next few years. Keep your eyes on this one, her hands are moving so fast and furious you don’t want to miss the next piece out.

I love it! It’s obvious a true artist created the Eros & Isis designs. They are so complex and wonderful!
What a wonderful concept, and what gorgeous designs!
